By the time this post comes out, I’ll be off-grid in Adelaide Australia, tripping over blue tongued lizards - “Bring enclosed shoes!” Annie the host warned me - and preparing for a much anticipated mud building workshop. It will be a busy time in which I’ll be intensely filling my experience tanks, which is the very fuel for my writings. For this reason there’ll be no regular post here on Substack at the end of October.
If you are a paid Subscriber here at the Nature of Freedom or over on Patreon, you will receive updates and photos of my trip as and when I can post them. In the meantime, I wish you all a happy drift into November! I haven’t been resting on my laurels this month though, as I revisit my life in a mud hut in Turkey in my upcoming book, The Green. It was such a curious time. In some ways I became dirt poor, yet in other ways it was the most magical and incredible period of my life. I still question it now, and swing from one side of the pendulum and back again: To what extent do we need money in this life? Hmm…
Paid subscribers receive the latest instalment of that book, right below the line. Mud Rocks on Patreon can access it over on that channel.
